Primary Purpose

Provide analytical analysis for the work management and scheduling process by developing weekly, monthly, and long-term schedules, perform workload analysis and resource forecasts. Monitor and evaluate historical trending and organizational performance through the development of indicator graphs and reports. Perform research, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to management. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.


Primary Duties

  • Perform Interface activities with Work Control, Contractors, and Buyers to ensure timely supplier notification of schedule changes, including expediting and de-expediting. (30%)
  • Communicate schedule dates, lead-time information and contingency planning to ensure that schedule adjustments are managed and implemented. (20%)
  • Validate the demand for services and materials in the master schedule. Integrate Site Supply priorities and stakeholder's requests to support the day-to-day, forced outage, Outage Master Schedules, and schedule changes. (10%)
  • Perform activities to ensure appropriate communication between Work Control and Supply is achieved for the schedule dates and changes that impact lead-time information and contingency planning. (10%)
  • Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned. (10%)
  • Support the Business Units' Backup Supervisor duties as assigned. (10%)
  • Monitor and evaluate organizational performance by developing indicator graphs and reports. (10%)

Job Scope

  • Performs actions to Integrate the priorities of Site Supply with Work Management and priorities of the site master schedule, including: Perform activates to update Hold codes for electronic work control system that tie to supply systems.
  • Implement standard practices to improve overall efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Schedule weekly meetings with ComEd Contractors.
  • Evaluate current demand with resources and inventory available to determine if contracting is necessary to keep up with workload.
  • Oversee up to four Job Site Delivery Pole Crews (up to 16 Material Handlers) daily.
  • Assist in Supervising Craft as a backup to FLS as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of related business experience
  • PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, Hyperion)
  • Data analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills and evaluation techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize a variety of independent assignments and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to handle conflict
  • Excellent attendance record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PassPort / AS8
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of assigned regions and crew routing tools
  • Knowledge of the Supply Chain process
