We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Talent Acquisition APAC to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and lead the recruitment strategy for the APAC region, establish Verisk as an employer of choice, and drive the sourcing, hiring, and analytics for the region. Responsibilities
The Director, Talent Acquisition APAC Lead will be a member of the Center of Excellence and will oversee and lead the recruitment strategy for their region while establishing Verisk as an employer of choice across our many businesses and locations. This person will act as the main point of contact for the regional leadership teams and help drive the sourcing, hiring and analytics for the region.
- Responsible for partnering with the VP, Global Head of Talent Acquisition and other Talent Acquisition Regional Leadsto develop and execute an integrated strategic vision for all Talent Acquisition across the enterprise and for driving the creation and execution of sourcing and recruitment processes that support business objectives and improve business performance.
- Manage and mentor regional team members to partner with internal clients proactively to source, attract, and acquire high quality candidates and develop key outreach sourcing initiatives to ensure a constant pipeline of talented and diverse applicants.
- Act as a trusted partner to HRBP's and business leaders to understand hiring needs, workforce planning and gaps. Serve as strategic advisor to senior leadership on market trends, competitive intelligence and best practices.
- Ensure our applicant tracking system is leveraged appropriately and maintain accurate reporting data to ensure team is executing against hiring goals.
- Work with global team to standardize recruitment processes and procedures, where possible; and identify areas of improvement for productivity gain.
- Leads the India Recruitment Council, consisting of India business leadership team, with the goal of driving TA strategy for India in partnership with our business.
- May be required to manage full life-cycle recruiting for senior level and confidential corporate positions and talent pools for future business needs and succession planning.
- Drive the development of tools and approaches to assess and improve candidate experience, engaged hiring teams, productive recruiters, good/clean data.
- Lead the development, collection, analysis and utilization of talent acquisition metrics and market intelligence to support the effectiveness of recruiting tools and processes.
Requirements

- Minimum ten (10) years demonstrated full life-cycle recruiting experience across all disciplines and various geographies with an understanding of the local/regional laws and nuances in APAC
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Corporate talent acquisition experience with a mid-sized to large organization managing a geographically dispersed team of Talent Acquisition staff
- Ideal candidate has deep experience across APAC and other locations such as EMEA
- Experience leading and defining recruitment strategies, developing recruitment metrics, and assessing recruiting tools and processes
- Outstanding communication, presentation and project management skills required
- Strong relationship building skills, collaboration and business acumen
- Must have strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office Suite
- Data oriented and ability to articulate data/metrics in a meaningful way
- Excellent analytical and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and shift focus as priorities change
- Bachelor's degree
