Senior Logistician - Military Veterans

Amentum is now hiring a Senior Logistician in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative duties for the Shipping and Receiving Department and the Logistics Manager, including high-level administrative tasks, customer service tasks, and maintaining the general needs of the office.
  
• Arrange and assist with company meetings and functions, maintain manager's calendar, arrange logistics for meetings and events, and assist in making travel arrangements such as flights and hotel reservations.
  
• Compile reports, assist with creating presentations, and organize and maintain records.
  
• Order shipping materials and supplies, track and maintain supply inventory, and process reports addressing inventory levels and needs.
  
• Process credit card charges and authorizations; troubleshoot and resolve client issues; and complete, verify, review, and reconcile paperwork and documentation.
  
• Review and compare transportation costs from different vendors, coordinate the return of merchandise, and manage electronic shipping files.
  
• Keep track of shipment packaging, transportation mode, cost of shipments, arrival times, and other important information in the shipping process.
  
• Generate and maintain files of orders, invoices, packing lists, returns, and other important shipping and receiving documentation.
  
• Oversee the replacement of office equipment; and collect, sort, and distribute mail.
  
• May manage memberships and renewals.
  
• May perform general office events planning.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a High School diploma.
  
• Minimum of 9 years of working experience. May accept 5 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
  
• Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting C5ISR DEVCOM programs.
