Structural Project Engineer - Military Veterans

job summary:

Permanent position: An Engineering Services company in Waukesha, WI is looking for a Project Engineer with 4+ years experience in designing steel structures for industrial clients. This position uses AutoCad to design, modify or approve structural steel platforms. Candidates must have excellent communications skills in order to work with clients, technical support, sales, etc. A PE license is preferred, but not required.

responsibilities:

• Complete Engineering Projects for steel structures

• Use AutoCAD proficiently and regularly.

• Travel to job sites, up to 25%

• Understands proper codes for safe structures.

Requirements for the Structural Designer

• BS in Structural Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 4 years experience in designing steel structures.

• P.E. Certification is preferred.
