Clinical Research Coordinator - Dermatology | University of California San Francisco - Military Veterans

The UCSF Department of Dermatology is committed to advancing healthcare through cutting-edge clinical research. We are currently seeing an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) with a strong background in conducting industry-sponsored clinical trials to join our dedicated team. As a CRC, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple industry-sponsored clinical trials. The successful candidate will bring expertise in managing all aspects of research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering positive relationships with sponsors and research participants. The duties may include, but will not be limited to: Study Coordination Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and quality standards. Collaborate with principal investigators, study sponsors, and cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth study implementation. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. Prepare and submit regulatory documents for Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval and maintain ongoing regulatory documentation. Participant Recruitment and Retention Develop and implement effective strategies for participant recruitment and retention. Coordinate study visits, including scheduling, monitoring, and ensuring participant safety and satisfaction. Data Management Oversee data collection, entry, and quality control procedures. Work closely with data management teams to ensure accurate and timely data submission to sponsors and regulatory authorities. Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, investigators, and research staff. Communicate study progress, issues, and resolutions effectively to internal and external stakeholders. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate).
