Loan Servicing representative - Military Veterans

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative to join our Auto Operations Impound team.

The Loan Servicing Representative will be responsible for responding to Auto Impound and/or Lien Notifications, working with the appropriate government agencies and third parties to secure the vehicle while complying with all regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies.

In this role, you will:

  • Support Loan Servicing functional area or processes
  • Respond to impound/lien notifications within the allotted time frame to protect the interests of the company.
  • Understand state specific guidelines and partner with city courts and other governmental agencies concerning a variety of impound questions or issues.
  • Communicate with impound lots to obtain information, schedule repossessions, and negotiate fees as needed.
  • Perform moderately complex administrative, transactional, operational, or customer support tasks
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls of low to moderate complexity pertaining to loans and various loan servicing functions.
  • Receive direction from Loan Servicing supervisors
  • Escalate non-routine questions to experienced individuals


Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced structured but flexible, adaptable and changing, call center environment
  • General understanding and knowledge of Auto Lending Lien Notifications
  • Ability to negotiate and facilitate issue resolution.
  • Experience in understanding policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic production-oriented environment.
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ability to collaborate and build business partnerships with internal and/or external parties.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Technical skills: I-Repo, CARS, iTop, and/or Imaging Content Management Platform (ICMP)


Job Expectations:
  • This position offers a Hybrid work schedule.
  • Successful candidates Must work the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST Monday-Friday.
