As an Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will provide technical support and expertise to the Advance Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring smooth product development, utilizing Honeywell SAP processes.
You will play a critical role in optimizing engineering workflows and driving efficiency through the effective use of SAP, directly contributing to the success of our AME engineering team and the overall Honeywell Aerospace Technologies business.
In this role, you will directly contribute towards the success of the engineering design and manufacturing operations by providing critical technical support that includes (but not limited to):
- Production demand management
- Parts inventory management
- Work order management
- Production parts tracking thru proper SAP updates (from incoming to factory floor to shipping)
- Documenting product completion status thru all phases of manufacturing
In this role, you are also expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring the effective use of SAP in engineering operations.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Minneapolis, MN location.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and expertise to the engineering team in the use of SAP systems and processes.
- Status and manage engineering production parts inventory on factory floor
- Status and manage product shipping and receiving related to AME engineering needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of engineering workflows.
- Optimize engineering processes and workflows through the effective use of SAP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Train and support engineering team members in the use of SAP.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
The annual base salary range for this position is $70,600 - $85,600. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience working with SAP systems and processes.
- Experience in engineering support roles.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be able work independently
WE VALUE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Experience with Inertial Guidance Systems/Sensors Test
- Knowledge of engineering processes and workflows.
- SAP certification or training.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
