RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the operations and maintenance of our VMware virtual infrastructure, with a primary focus on designing and operating cloud network infrastructure connectivity.
Responsibilities include Architecture Designing, Building & implementing, and operating NSX-T DataCenter Infrastructure with a spine leaf architecture.
Serve as a subject matter expert in performing advanced.
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of network segmentation at Honeywell global sites and operations, with a focus on Cisco's segmentation solution Cisco TrustSec technology & AAA Platform, alongside managing SDWAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi 6, with a specialized focus on architecture and design.
Project scoping and statement of work contracts, designing, planning, and delivering enterprise SDN solutions, providing recommendations and suggestions to management on multi-vendor solutions, defining support models, deployment, and operations documents (Build & Run book), implementing Cisco security platforms, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), and infrastructure automation for architecture and design at Honeywell global sites, offering operational support on a variety of technologies, including VMWare NSX, Cisco, Citrix load balancer, VMWare networking, routers, switches, software-based networking, firewalls, ACLs, and DMZ, demonstrating strong data center knowledge, including Nexus routing & switching, utilizing extensive experience in WAN technologies, switching technologies, and failover mechanisms, expertise in TCP/IP model, OSPF, BGP, IP addressing, and routing best practices.
Switching technologies such as VTP, 802.1q, VLAN, Etherchannel, Trunking, Port Security, STP.

Qualified
applicants must have a Bachelors degree* or foreign equivalent in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of experience
managing Complex Network Operations and Architectural Design Consulting. Full
term of experience must include: working knowledge of hyper converged Software
Defined Network Infrastructure; hands-on experience and advanced knowledge with
stackable switching, software defined access networks and Wifi6 security;
expertise with encrypted Data Networks, business continuity and disaster
recovery options, configuration and execution; ability to deliver on complex
Network Situations or problems without guidance or supervision; Infrastructure
programming & Automation scripting, developing code on Unix using API's,
python or equivalent; Infrastructure Data Analytics via Splunk; ability to
partner effectively across IT teams, suppliers and business customers on
cross-functional projects and process improvements; knowledge of IT business
processes and practices including ITIL methodology; and experience with data
protection, business continuity and disaster recovery options, configuration
and execution. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 times per week. *Employer
will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
