JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, Marketing Partnerships is a key member of the US/CAN Integrated Marketing Team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing Partnerships. This role supports the development and execution of 360 marketing partnership plans for US/CA Partnerships and Sponsorships, resulting in positive consumer engagement, revenue generation, brand experience, awareness, and Marriott Bonvoy affiliation. The Manager will work closely with agencies, partners, brands, and enterprise cross-functional teams to create and execute innovative and impactful programming.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • 4+ years experience in the brand activation, marketing, or partnerships roles demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance AND
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major OR
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in a related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity

Marketing Partnership Strategy, Development, Execution, and On-Going Management

  • Support the US/CAN Marketing Partnerships team in the development and implementation strategic marketing partnership plans through the lens of Marriott Bonvoy Passions (sports, entertainment, music, etc.) across a range of brands and categories
  • Supports the US/CAN Marketing Partnerships team in strategic planning, including short and long-term objectives, research and insights, deck development, experiential activation,, and advertising/marketing communications in partnership with enterprise cross-functional teams
  • Supports in the management of marketing concept development, ideation, and execution, including asset planning and partner approvals, planning/timelines, and launches
  • Conducts pre-transaction support, including market, consumer, and partner research and insights to support partner recommendations, deal parameters, and contract negotiations
  • Assists in development of high-impact presentations and communications to present partnership marketing plans and updates to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Manages budgets for designated areas of responsibility
  • Fosters strong relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Evangelizes Marriott brands to partners

The salary range for this position is $84,900 to $116,800 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
