Overview
Arts Science is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join the Department of Biology. This individual will facilitate financial transactions for departments and programs and provide internal control review of fiscal activity on operating, restricted fund, endowment, plant fund, and sponsored research accounts; implement and assist with developing internal control procedures; provide analyses for preparation of annual School budget.
Responsibilities
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:
3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with forecasting, financial analysis, and budget management.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in an academic/higher education setting.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Windows-based software applications, including proficiency with database and spreadsheet software.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,958.79 to USD $85,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
