Project Manager - Military Veterans

We are looking for a Sales/Project Manager to join our team in Columbia, TN, a growing area with a strong industrial and manufacturing presence. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized metal fabrication and machining environment, providing top-quality services to clients while managing projects from start to finish. Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from bidding and selling to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule requirements are met
• Serve as the primary customer contact for all orders, providing excellent service and clear communication
• Review customer contracts, specifications, and drawings to develop project plans, bills of materials, and determine testing/fabrication methods
• Develop and execute manufacturing plans, including travelers, project-specific procedures, and test plans
• Prepare detailed, technically accurate purchase requisitions
• Work with Estimating, Project Controls, Accounting, and Operations to manage expectations and project needs
• Identify and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle, documenting all project changes and approvals
• Track project milestones, provide financial progress reports, and assist in maintaining project budgets
• Ensure all project documentation is properly maintained and archived after completion

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in custom metal manufacturing sales and project management
• Strong knowledge of machining (CNC and manual), welding (GMAW, GTAW, SAW), and assembly in metal fabrication
• Experience working with ASME and AWS welding codes
• Preferably experienced with Quality Assurance systems
• Ability to write, revise, and control manufacturing documents, shop travelers/routers, and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project scheduling software, JobBoss, CAD, and SolidWorks
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
• Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Columbia, TN

This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule, though on-call and weekend availability may be required as needed.
