Brand Marketing Specialist - Military Veterans

As Brand Marketing Specialist I, you will be responsible for

supporting a number of initiatives across Honeywells Brand team with a focus

on assisting with sports sponsorship activations and contract negotiations and

leading tours of our Charlotte HQ Technology Center with a focus on maximizing

the space as a Marketing, Sales, and Communications platform. This

includes content creation, budget, and resource management, providing tours for

visitors and tracking success metrics. You will also help develop and manage a

database and understanding of the overall HTEC global footprint and develop

best practice tools and governance across Honeywells primary HTEC locations

(Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, etc.) while ensuring coherent and relevant

content and messaging is aligned to our broader brand.

The position is based in Charlotte, NC and reports to the

Sr. Director of Brand Marketing. Specific areas of responsibilities are

focused on the following:

Sports Sponsorships

  • Support

    the promotion and execution of Honeywells sports sponsorships

    specifically as it relates to asset activation, building relationships

    with partners, and collaborating on community service initiatives to

    enhance brand reputation.
  • Actively

    participate in the negotiation of single or multi-year partnerships with

    key sports teams, building brand affinity through partnerships and helping

    drive commercial integrations.
  • Collaborate

    with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing

    initiatives
  • Provide

    regular project updates and communication to senior management and others

    as needed.

Technology Experience Center

  • Represent

    Honeywell as the one of the HTEC ambassadors delivering a world class

    experience for guests.
  • Help

    manage calendar and coordinate customer visits as well as book, manage and

    act as secondary lead for all tours through the HTEC.
  • Support

    events for VIPs and special guests of leadership team.
  • Coordinate

    with corporate hospitality event team. Plan catering services where

    necessary.
  • Proactively

    market the CXC, including developing and implementing a strong

    communication plan throughout internal and external Honeywell channels.
  • Standardize

    and implement a process for success metrics and related reports.
  • Create

    dashboards to share functional effectiveness.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist

    with the organization of and participate in certain cross-business

    customer hospitality events, ensuring smooth execution and VIP customer

    service.
  • Oversee

    and process invoices and POs for the brand and communications team working

    in close collaboration with finance and procurement.
  • Additional

    duties as needed across the brand and communications team.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum

    of 1+ years marketing, communications, or sponsorship management

    experience
  • Proficiency

    in Microsoft Office with expertise in PowerPoint
  • Understanding

    of creative and production processes for presentations, videos, etc.
  • Expert

    organizational and project management skills
  • Strong

    communication/presentation skills
  • Fluent

    in written/spoken English, other languages a plus
  • Passion

    for winning!

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors

    degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or similar field
  • MBA

    desired, but not required
  • Working

    knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Corporate

    environment experience a plus
  • Ability

    to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong

    attention to detail
  • Strong

    project management skills
