You will be a key professional in the Health Safety Environment & Facilities (HSE&F) function. You will ensure successful HSE&F performance metrics for the Aerospace Technologies facilities. You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the employees and leaders. You will report directly to the HSEF Governance & Compliance Director Aerospace Technologies Headquarters. You will be a key HSE&F resource with for the site leadership and site HSE personnel in implementation of sustainable health and safety programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in health and safety standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive continuous improvement in environmental and safety performance
- Oversee and manage regulatory compliance at the Headquarters level to include site level HSEF performance world-wide
- Ensure compliance through the implementation and execution of an internal HSEF governance process
- Deliver quality HSEF data analysis and reports resulting in actions to achieve HSEF goals/objectives
- Identify opportunities for improving HSEF governance and compliance
- Audit site operations for compliance to HSEF regulatory and Honeywell Aerospace Technologies policies and procedures
- Coordinate with third party contractors and consultants
- Work in conjunction with the Regional and Business HSE Directors to continually improve site level HSEF processes
- Development and implementation of HSEF programs to include creating and delivery of training
- Mentoring and supporting HSEF site personnel
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 or more years of HSEF experience in implementing and managing HSE program
WE VALUE
- Degree in HSE or related environmental or engineering field
- Environmental Permit experience
- FAA DOT experience
- Familiarity with working with regulatory agencies
- Familiarity with hazardous waste and wastewater treatment processes
- Six Sigma Certification
- Exposure to ISO Operating Systems (14001, 45001)
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership skills to build a strong HSEF culture
