As aProcess Operator - Level 1here atHoneywellEnergy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chemical manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, making adjustments as needed, and following standard operating procedures to maintain product quality and maximize production efficiency.

You will report directly to our Shift Supervisor and you'll work out of our Geismar, LA location.

In this role, you will impact the success of our operations by:

Operating and monitoring equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols
Conducting routine inspections and maintenance activities to identify and address any issues or potential problems
Following standard operating procedures and guidelines to maintain product quality and consistency
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues
Participating in training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills in process operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

YOU MUST HAVE

Basic computer skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to complete moderate to heavy lifting is required
Must be TWIC card eligible

WE VALUE

Associate's degree in a technical field
Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing or process operations role
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent
