CB/CIB Digital Front-Line Risk - Lead Business Execution Consultant - Military Veterans

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant as part of the Commercial Banking/Corporate & Investment Banking Digital Transformation team to lead execution of the Third Party Risk Program, to manage policy adherence and requirement dispositions, and oversee Model Risk governance for our digital banking solutions. Expertise in Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA), outstanding leadership skills and the proven ability to partner with digital stakeholders, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement, will be determining factors in selection.
In this role, you will:
- Drive the implementation and ongoing execution of the Third Party Risk Program, ensuring comprehensive risk assessment and monitoring of vendor relationships
- Lead the policy applicability assessment process, providing clear guidance on policy requirements and ensuring compliance across digital products
- Identify, assess, and manage Model Risk, developing and maintaining appropriate governance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Independent Risk Management and the Control Organization to ensure alignment on risk management strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of risk assessments, policy decisions, and governance processes
- Proactively identify potential risk areas and develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate regular risk review meetings and provide status updates to key stakeholders
The successful candidate will have very strong written communication skills, with excellent writing and project management skills. They must also have excellent oral communication skills and a proven ability to influence senior leaders across a matrixed organization to create engagement and drive results. This team member will have strong interpersonal effectiveness with an impeccable reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency, and business acumen.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis and recommendations; uses analysis to identify and define business requirements related to various risk programs
- Experience leading risk management programs, and experience with digital platform/product redesign definitions and launches
- Strong relationship development skills
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all level of team members
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
- Experience in product management/development, program management, strategy, marketing and/or related position in a consumer-oriented, technology-dependent environment in financial services or related industries
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint) skills
Job Expectations:
