The National Security Space Business Area of Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA is seeking an experienced, creative, and high energy Systems Engineer with recent and relevant skills.

The selected candidate will support Systems Engineering & Integration activities to help ensure end-to-end capabilities are being developed in fulfillment of all customer requirements.

This is a mission-focused position that involves support to various System Engineering and Project Coordination activities, such as:

The development, coordination, and approval of engineering artifacts (e.g., CONOPS, Architecture Views, Use Cases, ICDs, SVDP, IMS, CM Plans, etc.).
Coordination with the USG, FFRDC personnel, and other external mission partners to establish a mutual understanding of expectations, track giver/receiver dependencies, and mature the system design in a fashion that ultimately leads to successful completion of program milestones.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a core STEM field
• Demonstrated experience with system development, testing, and integration
• Experience with test planning, execution, and analysis, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Experience with Unix operating systems, including command line navigation and script execution, as well as familiarity with cyber security requirements
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and Restricted Access program clearances
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with subcontractors on system engineering activities (analysis of subcontractor documentation including but not limited to design and requirement artifacts, test documentation and analysis, witnessing of test executions, test process, etc)
• Experience with development of requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) documentation
• Experience with system engineering activities involving civil engineering requirements
• RF experience or knowledge
• Willingness to travel, including abroad, in support of program activities
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
