Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager (Level L) to join our team located within the Puget Sound. This position will sit in Seattle, Washington and travel to our local Puget Sound sites to include Kent, Tukwila, SeaTac, and others. You will be leading diverse teams across both 1st and 2nd shifts, so flexibility is needed to provide support on both shifts based on business requirements.

You will lead all aspects of our facilities team with a focus on custodial services provided to multiple Boeing programs and products. This opportunity involves 24/7 support of facilities management activities driving improvements to align with industry performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coaches first level manager activities within the facilities occupation including custodial services, facilities analysis, construction and facilities maintenance

  • Develops and implements integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, business partners and employees

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection; provides technical oversight and integrates supplier activities

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

  • Leads all activities to deliver top quality services and performs reoccurring and planned work statement

  • Daily collaboration with business partners, contractors, and teammates  

  • Uses communication, problem solving, technical knowledge, and financial competence

  • Participates in weekend duty rotation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and direct reports

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing data and metrics to identify future organization needs

  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing strategies to meet organization objectives

  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing in a union environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience leading construction/maintenance projects

  • 3+ years of experience developing strategic long range business plans and managing budgets

  • Experience within custodial services or facilities maintenance

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift. Flexible shift support across shifts will be required based on business needs.

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $143,650 - $194,000
