Leidos’ Defense Systems is seeking a Project Manager to join our Common Hypersonics Glide Body (CHGB) Production Program team.  As a Project Manager, you will function as a CAM, providing support to the lead Cost Account Manager (CAM) of the CHGB manufacturing and production operations.  This person will support the planning and execution of the CHGB manufacturing & production schedule.  This role requires familiarity with EVMS implementation, scheduling, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and use of analytical tools and approaches that support accurate project health and prediction.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the lead CAM in establishing, maintaining and measuring manufacturing performance against the baseline
• Responsible for weekly reviews and status updates for control account and associated work packages.
• Provide support to track, trend, forecast and analyze budgets and actuals
• Learn Earned Value Management (EVM) and apply knowledge to investigate and understand root causes of cost and schedule variances.
• Support monthly EVM data analysis, forecasting, and reporting
• Support the lead CAM in analyzing and interpreting EV data

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with EVMS indices and processes
