Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Director of Safety/Quality Assurance in the establishment and implementation of a job safety programs. Supervises the program to identify and eliminate or control hazards to persons or property.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist the Director Safety/Quality Assurance in the establishment and management of the job safety program.
• Perform safety functions within the scope of the job safety program and within the limits of his capability.
• Perform accidents record analysis, and issues reports on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Monitor the safety performance of all employees, or in respect to one or more functions of the job safety program.
• Conduct safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections of facilities in compliance with SHARP Management.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

• Bachelors in Health or Safety related field, or equivalent
• 15+ years of relevant experience
• Requires knowledge of Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
