Helpdesk Technician

Pay: $18-$19/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, plus one weekend per month (Sat & Sun: 8:30 AM-4:00 PM or 3:30 PM-11:30 PM). Rotating holiday coverage (26 shifts per year).

Position Summary
We are seeking a Helpdesk Technician to provide exceptional customer service and technical support for up to 50,000 employees. This role is a key part of a 24/7 service desk, handling password resets, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and resolving network connectivity problems. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced IT support environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Deliver world-class customer service via phone, email, chat, and in person.
-Provide Tier 1 technical support for enterprise services, diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware, software, applications, and network connectivity.
-Process password resets and user access requests for up to 50,000 employees.
-Accurately document incidents and service requests using designated tools.
-Escalate complex issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
-Stay updated on IT service offerings, operational procedures, and troubleshooting protocols.

Qualifications & Skills
-Previous helpdesk, IT support, or customer service experience preferred.
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
-Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and troubleshooting.
-Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holiday shifts.
