Are you a skilled Network Engineer seeking an opportunity to make a real impact? Look no further! Zachary Piper Solutions is actively seeking a Travel Network Engineer to play a key role in configuring and deploying LAN equipment at government and contractor sites, ensuring seamless connectivity to Azure air-gapped cloud environments. Primary responsibilities include integrating LAN equipment with the WAN, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and coordinating with remote support.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience with TCP/IP protocol configuration (e.g., DNS, FTP, SSH, BGP).
- 2 years of experience deploying documented network architectures and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Functional understanding of TCP/IP network subnetting.
- 4 years of experience in Network Operations.
- Ability to execute precise work in time-sensitive outage scenarios.
- Effective communication of status changes impacting operations.
- Active TS/SCI
Recommended/Desired:
- Experience or exposure to hosting providers, online services, or internet service provider environments, including troubleshooting routing, switching, and load balancing.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or apprenticeship degree.
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Independent functional experience performing packet capture analysis or running Wireshark is highly desirable.
- Experience with securing/locking down network devices.
Compensation:
- Competitive Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000, based on your experience and skills.
