SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport portion of SMIT, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.

 

Leidos is looking to hire a Technical Writer/Editor Mid in Camp Pendleton, CA to join our SMIT program. The Technical Writer/Editor will be responsible for preparing and maintaining systems, programming and operations documentation, procedures, and methods, including user manuals, reference manuals, etc. They will also maintain a current internal documentation library, provide, or coordinate special documentation services as required, and act as project leader for large jobs.

 

Requirements:

High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 6 years of related experience

US Citizen with a Secret security clearance

Must currently possess a Security+ certification.

$37/hour - $39.38/hour
