General Purpose:
A General Laborer will be performing a variety of tasks in different departments. General Laborer's duties will change based on department needs, including working in multiple departments throughout the day.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate hand trucks/electric reach trucks and riders
- Feeding of gluers and collators
- Assist or fill in at the Sealer (making finished goods labels)
- Sorting of non-conforming material
- Quality checks (inside/outside glue, false scores, any of the above quality issues listed in Sheeting, Press and Cutting)
- Operate the aerator
- Operating the feed
- Staging inks and plates for Make Ready's
- Pulling inks and plates
- Operate Clamp and Gas trucks
- Move and maneuver rolls and loads so they are staged and ready
- Assist with Make Ready's (Machine Changeover from one job to the next)
- Assist with machine operation (loading rolls, pulling loads, operating machine)
What You Need to Succeed:
Must be open to multiple shifts.
Applicants must be detailed oriented, have good math, mechanical, reading skills and able to follow all safety rules and regulations.
Must have ability to work independently and have ability to be licensed on material handling equipment.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Forklift experience is a plus.
