Software Applications Developer Subject Matter Expert

Our work depends on Software Applications Developer Subject Matter Expert joining our team to lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Enterprise Case Management solutions in Pega or similar platforms.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
- Applies expert knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Applies expert knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs.
- Applies expert knowledge to create a wide variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application.
- Applies expert knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs.
- Provides expert analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.
- Provides expert guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates.
- May act as a consultant across multiple programs and/or contracts.
- May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals.
- May serve as a team or task lead.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Qualifications:
- Required Education: Bachelors and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in software development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience implementing case management solutions with the Pega Platform and Pega Express Delivery model.
- Expert in modern software design principles such as building with loosely coupled parts, user centered design and DevOps.
- Experience designing and developing application programming interfaces between modernized and legacy systems.
- Relevant Pega Certifications.
- Experience with several programming languages to include Java.
- Experience with relational databases and database design.
- Experience with the Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation within the Pega Platform.

The likely salary range for this position is $161,158 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
