Project Analyst - Military Veterans

Job Summary:

The Project Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the successful execution of multiple projects by tracking project finances, ensuring alignment of project schedules, and providing essential administrative support. This position will collaborate closely with various project managers and report directly to the Director of Strategic Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Tracking:
    • Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
    • Create and manage purchase requisitions throughout the purchasing process
    • Assist project managers in financial forecasting and variance analysis.
    • Prepare financial reports for stakeholder review, highlighting key metrics and insights.


  • Project Schedule Management:
    • Support project managers in developing and maintaining project schedules.
    • Track progress against project timelines, identifying any delays or potential risks.
    • Facilitate communication among project teams to ensure alignment on schedules and deliverables.


  • Administrative Support:
    • Organize and maintain project documentation, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
    • Assist in preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and action item tracking.
    • Coordinate project-related meetings and events, including logistics and communications.


  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between project managers and stakeholders, providing updates and facilitating discussions.
    • Participate in project team meetings, contributing insights and support as needed.
    • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication across teams.


  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for improving project tracking and reporting processes.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for project management.


  • Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project analysis or support roles, preferably in a project-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in project management software and financial tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
