ASRC Federal requires a Quality Control Professional on the ASTROS contract. The support needed will include performing periodic reviews of all processes and procedures for the ASTROS Contract, working with Site personnel and process owners to ensure processes are being followed. Assisting in Configuration Management in support of Test Sites.

Key Role :

• Analyzes all ASTROS business and technical processes, with the support of Subject Matter Experts to either revise and update or submit new thoughts to be developed into the quality system.

• Maintain status on all quality efforts and provide routine updates on status to the ASTROS Program Manager.
• Work with Project Specialists to identify schedule milestones in their work plans and ensure work is met or a new date is communicated and documented.
• Serve as the Quality Resource for the ASTROS Contract.
• Identify and track corrective actions related to Quality.
• Serve as the back-up for the ASTROS Configuration process.
• Write, review, and assist in all Test Site Work Authorizations as part of a review team.
• Conduct analyses of project schedules with the support of project schedulers.
• Support procurement efforts for various projects and place orders, monitoring the purchase request through the researching stage, ordering process, and through to completion.
• Ensure that processes are in place for tracking that all equipment purchased is sent to Preventative maintenance to be added to their tracking database.
• Compliance with AFRL regulations and procedural requirements is mandatory.
• Maintain daily activities ensuring quality is involved in all aspects of work.

• May be required to support test operations.
• Be able to work extended hours to support test operations with short notice, including weekends and night.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 + years of experience in Quality Control or a related field
• BA Degree.
• Experience with writing and using quality control processes.
• Must be a US Citizen to meet government contract requirements.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Ability to support possible weekend or after-hours support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading Quality inspections across multi-disciplines.
• Some experience in an Aerospace environment.
