Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Data Analyst for the Office of Advanced Research Computing. The Rutgers Clinical & Research Data Warehouse ( CRDW ) Data Analyst position involves contributing to various aspects of clinical research data management, analysis, and visualization.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in maintaining data quality, performing analytical tasks, developing visualization techniques, and aiding in the selection and application of analytical tools within a clinical research data warehouse context.
- Uses EPIC data structures and other healthcare-related data systems.
- Leads team efforts to ensure data Quality Assurance (QA) processes are effectively implemented, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of clinical research data within the data warehouse.

- Develops data visualization techniques to present findings and insights effectively, aiding in the interpretation and communication of results to stakeholders.
- Develops analytical workflows, optimizing processes for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting within the clinical research context.
- Recommends, selects and implements appropriate analytical tools and methodologies to support research teams in leveraging data for analysis.
- Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
- Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers' regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent education, experience, and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
- 3 years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, or a related field.
