Electrical Technician - Military Veterans

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational corporation that manufactures construction, mining, forestry and military heavy equipment, as well as diesel engines and industrial equipment like press machines, lasers and thermoelectric generators. This organization is the second largest manufacturer of construction and mining equipment in the world. They are currently looking to add an Electrical Technician to their team. This is a state-of-the-art facility, and they have recently done renovations and an expansion. They have a long history of hiring veteran talent.

In this role you are responsible for maintenance of the industrial electrical infrastructure across the company's 135-acre campus in Peoria.

In this role, you will perform the installation, maintenance or replacement of electrical circuits, electrical components, and the electrical elements of machine tools. They are looking for folks who think outside the box and will collaborate with other maintenance personal to solve any issues. They have a very team-oriented environment and are looking for candidates work as team, but also ask questions and willing to learn. The technician assembles, installs, services, and repairs complex electronic and electrical systems on machine tools and plant equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities include:

- Electrical construction

- Diagnosing issues

- Reading blueprints, and interpreting ladder logic

- You must have the ability to communicate with service personnel and advise on needed parts.

Base salary, $80K - $110K, with overtime, benefits, and a 401k. They are open to relocation for the right candidate. They currently need a candidate for 3rd shift. There are endless opportunities to grow and learn with this company.
