Senior Capture Manager- HYBRID - Military Veterans

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to join a federal program located in McLean, VA. The Senior Capture Manager will manage the contract capture process from pre-RFP strategy development through award and launch for key business opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Senior Capture Manager:
- Organize and lead all of the cross-functional activities required to pursue a business development opportunity and support the preparation of a proposal.
- Develop the bid strategy, keeping senior management briefed on bid progress, and leads complex captures through the proposal contributors across the different functions
- Develops a high “Probability of Win” for those opportunities selected for capture and bid
- Identifies gaps and emerging requirements, performs market and economic analysis, conducts business intelligence, designs and executes formal capture plans and monitors competitor activity for each capture
- Leads business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, bid agenda development, opportunity gate reviews, and proposal reviews
Qualifications of the Senior Capture Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years of related experience such as business development, account management, or capture management
- Minimum of 7 years of leading federal contract capture experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Must have experience in winning large scale opportunities of at least $100M
- Knowledge of government and military contracts, GSA and FAR with demonstrated ability in implementation of Shipley process
- Demonstrable understanding of all contract types (e.g., non-IDIQ, IDIQ - single or multiple award contracts), as well as payment types (e.g., FFP, T&M, cost plus
- Ability to solve complex problems in winning bids
- Ability to use automated tools and applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Teams to present ideas, information and reports
Compensation for the Senior Capture Manager:
- Salary Range: $190,000 - $200,000 *flexible based on experience*
