Quality Inspector Level 3 - Military Veterans

As a Quality Inspector Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Quality Manager, and you'll work out of our Tucson location. In this role, you will impact the quality of our products and contribute to the overall success of our organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform inspections, read blueprints, understand dimensions and tolerances
Comprehend written documents, procedures, work instructions, and forms
Utilize instruments such as bore gauge, profilometer, caliper, etc.
Record observations, generate inspection reports
Ability to work overtime and weekends
Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Identify and document non-conformances and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions
Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve product quality
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures

YOU MUST HAVE

3+ years of experience in quality inspection or a related field
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning, and Tolerancing
Ability to lift to 35 pounds

Familiarity with the FAIR process
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Computer Literacy Specifically with SAP and Microsoft Applications
Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
Strong Work Ethic and Initiative to Learn Processes
Analyze, Incorporate and Apply New Information and Concepts
Complete Work, Follow Up and Appropriate Reporting on Responsibilities
Focus on Important Information and Identify Key Details
Knowledge of labeling/part marking requirements
Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in quality control inspection field
Ability to use tools and techniques to perform inspections
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards and procedures
Knowledge of quality control techniques and tools
