As a Sr Investigator at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in conducting investigations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for analyzing and gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports. Your expertise in investigations will contribute to maintaining a safe and ethical work environment for our employees and protecting the company's reputation.
You will report directly to our Investigations Director and work out of our Charlotte, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the success of our organization by identifying and addressing potential risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough investigations into alleged violations of company policies and procedures
- Collect and analyze evidence, including documents, electronic data, and witness statements
- Leverage subject matter experts and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Interview witnesses and subjects of investigations
- Prepare detailed investigation reports, conduct root cause analysis and make recommendations for corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive measures and improve internal controls

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in conducting investigations
- Strong knowledge of investigative techniques and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Investigative experience with fraud or white-collar crime investigations
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Professional certifications in investigations or related areas (CFE, CFI)
- Law enforcement investigative experience
- Experience in a corporate or regulatory compliance environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Capacity to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment
