Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions currently has an opening for an Cybersecurity/IT intern working in our Tewksbury, MA office. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop hands-on skills in entry-level IT, coding / scripting, and Cybersecurity supporting the mission of securing global and domestic borders, airports, seaports, critical infrastructure, and urban environments.
Primary Responsibilities.
- Support automated provisioning system for Windows systems in both air-gapped and connected environments.
- Develop and apply security policies and OS hardening techniques to ensure the highest level of security for deployed systems.
- Create and manage patch management processes to keep systems up to date with the latest security updates and patches.
- Develop troubleshooting tools and processes to quickly resolve system issues.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate security best practices into the deployment processes.
- Support documentation and training for IT staff on the use of various processes and systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the system remains robust and secure.
Basic Qualifications.
- Pursuing degree BS in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Excellent understanding of IT and/or cybersecurity principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Experience in IT or cybersecurity and automated Operating Systems provisioning.
- Experience with Windows OS administration and deployment automation.
- Experience in PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $71,675.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
