As a Lead Electronics Engineering Technicianwithin ourIntegratedFlight DeckSystemsgroup, you will use your advanced knowledge ofelectronic engineeringfundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovativeAvionicssolutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work alongside some of the world's most talented technicians and engineers developing Honeywell's next generation ofAvionicsproducts through testing and validating products from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Product Engineers and other Electronics Technicians in troubleshooting faultyavionicshardware
- Participate in the developmentverificationtest proceduresand perform testing ofavionicsproducts using common electroniclaboratory equipment
- Execute environmental and EMIQualification testing
- Perform testing of Epic modules for Root-Cause determination
- End-Itemacceptance testingusing Vector and CATE test stations
- Fabricate breadboard and prototype electronic devices, including loadingconfigurationdata into programmable logic devices
- Interface with Equipment Maintenance personnel to ensurelaboratory equipmentis calibrated
- Ensure electronic test fixtures are in operable condition (cables, connectors, markings, etc.) and properly stored
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma
- 7+ years experience as an Electronics Technician
WE VALUE
- Technical School Diploma/Certificate inElectronics Technologyis of value.
- Ability to complete work, follow up and report appropriately on responsibilities
- Experience withAvionicsor related Aerospace products is of value.
- IPC Solder Certification, or equivalent is a plus
- Proficient in the use of optical measurement equipment (e.g.,Photometer, spectroradiometer) is of value
- Experience with supportingFPGAprogramming/operation is of value
