Pay: $26 - $28 per hour

Position Overview:
As an Accounting Assistant, you will assist in managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring smooth operations and accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices and payments
- Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate records
- Handle general office tasks and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
