Automation Engineer needed for immediate long term contract role in the Keene NH area! Our client has a project and is in need of a knowledgeable Automation engineer with experience in the medical device manufacturing automation arena.
The right person will have at least 4 years working in a medical device manufacturing automation environment and have a proven knowledge for commissioning and decommissioning high output automation lines.
Other responsibilities will be to support design reviews, debug, acceptance and validation activities for equipment developed by external suppliers. Some regional travel will be required for this role between the two sites.

responsibilities:
- Support design reviews, debug, acceptance and validation activities for equipment being developed by external suppliers.
- Support decommissioning of equipment for two sites as well as Support production as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred along with 4+ years experience in a medical device manufacturing environment and assembly automation systems experience.
- Validation experience: IQ, OQ, PQ and TMVs
- Automation control systems background - PLCs, HMIs, Vision systems, Servos & Robots.
- Familiarity with standard MS Office tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Helpful
- Fundamental knowledge of statistical analysis - specifically GR&Rs & Process Capability.
- Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation programming experience: Studio5000, RSView ME/SE.
- Siemens S7 programming experience.
- Staubli/EPSON/ABB robot experience
