Senior Specialist, Animal Health - US Commercial Livestock FP&A Support

The position will provide Financial Planning and Analysis services to the US Commercial Livestock Team. The position will report to the Finance Director, US Commercial Livestock, and be located in Lenexa, KS or Rahway, NJ.

Job Scope and Responsibilities

  • Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and key insights to better inform and influence the decision making
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate results effectively
  • Proactively recommend improvements and enhancements to data collection methods and financial processes
  • Optimize processes by reducing repetitive tasks through automation or other data analytics solutions
  • Provide client groups with foundational FP&A activities including: annual budget development; periodic forecast development; and analysis of actual results
  • Monitor, analyze, and report US Livestock and Business Support operational expenses
  • Limited controllership activities including support of month-end close processes and controls
  • Perform various financial analyses as required by the US Commercial Livestock team
  • Support ad-hoc projects
  • Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure that a strong internal control environment exists


Position Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement:
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology, or a related field with a strong focus on innovative practices.


Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in analytical, accounting or finance role
  • Ability to interact in cross-functional teams and with Sr. Management
  • Strong skills, aptitude, and experience with financial reporting software tools
    • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in the details, while appreciating the overall strategic picture
  • Results-driven and process-oriented
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and complete tasks promptly and accurately
  • Actively seeks opportunities for improving processes and increasing efficiency


Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:
$104,200.00 - $163,900.00
