Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee service desk operations, call center support, desk-side support, and COOP IT support functions.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure projects meet requirements and deadlines.
  • Supervise and manage cross-functional teams, providing direction, task assignments, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage staffing requirements, resource allocation, and task prioritization.
  • Oversee daily project operations, ensuring the team adheres to timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and senior management, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive status reports, including project progress, challenges, and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and implement action items efficiently.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, client specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Support technical documentation development related to service desk operations and processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience:
  • Eight years of experience in information technology, which includes at least three years in a management or supervisory position. Additionally, three years of experience within the specific functional area related to the project being managed are required.
  • Certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Help Desk Institute (HDI) or A+ related certifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related functional area.
  • Clearance:
  • Must possess a Secret clearance
