Cape Fox Shared Services (CFSS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the Shared Services Human Resources team. This position reports to the President of Shared Services and provides administrative support through careful review and execution of routine tasks in support of all Shared Services activities. This position is customer facing and requires excellent communication skills. The daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the creation and processing of personnel action forms, employee census reporting, staffing rosters, benefits administration, document management to include scanning, coping and filing as needed and directed by Senior Shared Service's team members.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Maintains confidentiality
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
Responds to employment inquiries
Prepares onboarding documents/files and processes newly hired employees
Responds to routine requests from employees regarding the company's health and welfare programs
Assists with personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
Participates in meetings and attends seminars
Assists the HR Directors with various administrative/clerical duties
Works with a variety of people and fosters positive working relationships
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures
Strong organizational abilities with an ability to develop and establish record and file keeping procedures
Must be dependable, able to follow instructions and responsive to management direction
High level of integrity, trust and confidentiality
Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle data with confidentiality
Proficiency on all Microsoft Office applications as well as the ability to quickly learn and utilize various corporate or computer-based applications as required.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Human Resources field
High school diploma
