ERP Management Analyst - Military Veterans

Amentum is seeking an experienced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management Analyst to support our customer, the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC), in Naples, Italy. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effective management of Maintenance Data Systems (MDS) and related applications. The specialist will oversee the implementation, monitoring, training, and problem resolution of MDS tools while supporting various systems essential to FDRMC's mission success. Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary authority in MDS management, ensuring compliance with the latest business processes and procedures.
- Provide hands-on training, knowledge sharing, and support for MDS applications, including Maritime Systems Environment (MSE), Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM), Strategic Planning of Execution: Assessment and Risk (SPEAR), Service Now, and other mission-critical databases.
- Deploy, maintain, and oversee the lifecycle of MDS applications, ensuring seamless implementation and sunsetting as needed.
- Manage time and attendance applications and ensure efficient file management practices.
- Respond promptly to user inquiries, provide daily correspondence with application users and managers, and initiate trouble tickets for escalated issues.
- Oversee user management for all MDS applications, ensuring accurate access and permissions.
- Create and maintain reports, metrics, and other deliverables using Microsoft Office tools to ensure leadership has a clear view of manning and operational performance.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in business processes, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of Maintenance Data Systems (MDS) applications and databases, such as MSE, MFOM, Spear, Service Now, and Navy Maintenance Database (NMD).
- Proven ability to manage user access, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective training for system users.
- Exceptional communication skills to facilitate daily correspondence with users and managers.
- Ability to manage metrics, reporting, and documentation with high attention to detail.
- Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Previous experience supporting FDRMC or similar ship maintenance and repair organizations.
- Familiarity with time and attendance systems and file management practices.
- Knowledge of change management principles and experience with application lifecycle management.
- Experience working in an international environment or for a multinational organization.
- Proficiency in Service Now and other ticketing or IT service management tools.
