Requisition Number: S_250138 Department: Agronomy & Horticulture-0827 Description of Work: The Department of Agronomy & Horticulture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a talented Office Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the work of a team of office professionals and to provide support to the faculty, staff, and students within the Department. As the Office Supervisor, you will: Provide supervision and management of a team of office professionals within the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture; fostering teamwork, trust, and ensuring alignment with mission. Plan, allocate, prioritize, assign, and monitor responsibilities and tasks to meet operating needs of the department. Have direct responsibility for various projects involving direct contact with faculty, staff, and students. Provide direct support to faculty, staff, and students in the learning management system utilized across campus. Serve as a travel and expense processing expert, assisting with travel arrangements and troubleshooting issues within the travel and expense system. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, plus four years of administrative experience; OR Associate degree in business or related field, plus two years of administrative experience. Additional relevant experience or education may substitute on a year-for-year basis. Experience must include supervisory or leadership responsibilities. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite for email, spreadsheets, and word processing. The ability to train and support other staff members in using office technology and resolving basic technical issues. Posted Salary: $23.50/hr minimum Job Type: Full-Time
