- Experience: Prior experience operating CNC machines or screw machines is often preferred.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in measurements, interpreting blueprints, and making machine adjustments.

responsibilities:
Machine Setup:
- Install and adjust tooling, chucks, and other equipment on screw machines.
- Program or adjust machine settings based on the specific part being produced, ensuring accuracy in dimensions.
Operation:
- Operate screw machines to produce metal parts, often in high-volume production environments.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure it's running smoothly and producing parts to specification.
Inspection & Quality Control:
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards using tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Perform routine checks and adjust settings to maintain precision and avoid defects.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform regular maintenance on screw machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the machines during operation.
Documentation:
- Keep detailed records of production runs, machine settings, maintenance performed, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Collaboration:
- Work with other operators, supervisors, and engineers to optimize production processes.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
