Position Summary: The Digital Media Specialist should demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude with a keen interest in shaping Allen Brothers image and values through appropriate communication to the outside world. In this role, you will have a hand in expanding the brand, developing strategic plans with cross-functional teams, and executing against a wide variety of creative and strategic business briefs and marketing channels. The Digital Media Specialist must possess a strong creative content production background, including managing internal and external development and production partners, graphic design and photography.
What you'll do:
Graphic Design and Storytelling:
- Stay up to date on current editing trends and techniques, including related to social video, to enhance storytelling, and content performance.
- Develop visual assets for marketing campaigns and social media
- Recommend creative ideas and artistic knowledge to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
- Responsible for shooting, editing, and organizing/storing images
- Use photo manipulation software such as Adobe Suite to get desired results
- Partners with different members of the Allen Brothers team to develop videos and digital assets aligned with the strategic goals of Allen brothers
- Enhance brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms
- Strong understanding of brand architecture, visual identity systems, color theory, and composition
- Use different food styling techniques to enhance the photographs as required
Photography and Videography:
• Partners with different members of the TCW team to develop videos and digital assets aligned with the strategic goals of TCW
• Serves as the in-house photographer & videographer for special events & marketing collateral
• Responsible for shooting, editing, and organizing/storing images
• Performs full production of multimedia content from approved concept to final output and archiving. This includes storyboarding, scheduling, directing talent, capturing video and audio, importing media, designing and inserting static or motion graphics, editing, adding music/voiceovers/sound effects, and delivering finished projects within given time frames
• Take professional photographs of ingredients and or beauty shots in studio or on location
• Interacts with associates/interviewees before and during productions, to reassure, guide, and coach for optimal on-camera performance
• Use different food styling techniques to enhance the photographs as required
• Assist in designing various presentations, choosing props, and direct Chefs as needed
• Recommend creative ideas and artistic knowledge to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
• Use photo manipulation software such as Adobe Suite to get desired results
• Operate various photographic equipment such as single lens reflex cameras and film or digital cameras and lighting
• Manages all film production equipment, in-house studio, and video archives
About you:
- Proven experience as a food photographer & videographer in a competitive industry preferred
- 2-4 years digital media/video production experience
- Graphic design experience showcased in a portfolio
- Strong creative presence, knowledge of food industry and artistic flair preferred
- Food focused with a desire to over deliver on quality images
- Able to follow instructions clearly to achieve desired results
- A strong understanding of videography and photography, including shooting, editing, and producing digital video/photos
- Excellent communications skills; excellent computer skills; the ability to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects; the ability to develop and maintain
- Flexible to travel to locations as required of the job
