Job Summary
The Director of Infrastructure Security operations is a highly motivated strong self-starter with exemplary attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently. Executive presence, technical acumen and proven credentials, preferably in the Hospitality industry. The ability and willingness to work flexibly, under pressure, and to consistently meet deadlines without prompting. A collaborative, team player who understands how to build partnerships, who can motivate and manage others, and ensure assigned tasks and deliverables are being accomplished, reported and completed.
Responsibilities
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Security Management, Risk Management or Management Information Systems, or equivalent, verifiable experience.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) required; Professional security management certifications such as CISSP, CISM and/or CISA preferred.
- A total of 8 years' cybersecurity technical leadership or management experience required.
- Prior experience developing security architecture, security engineering, security network design, IAM, PAM, Cyber Threat Management, Email Secure Gateway, DLP, SIEM and EDR required.
- Must be familiar with security architecture, design and controls related to public and private cloud implementations, containerization technologies and Software as a Service (SaaS) hardening.
- Must have a sound foundation and understand of security compliance and best-practice frameworks such as PCI, NIST, ISO and HITRUST.
- Experience managing teams and groups of individuals, in direct and matrix reporting relationships, responsible for large scale enterprise programs and deliverables.

- Understanding the complex technology, engineering, operations and platform environments utilized across Aimbridge business units, subsidiaries and hotel properties, and helping to develop security architectural, configuration, policy, governance and compliance solutions required to ensure their protection.
- Provide expert information security architectural and engineering thought leadership and solution recommendations to ensure that security investments are aligned appropriately.
- Manage relationships between various Managed Service (MSP) and Managed Detection & Response (MDR) partners to ensure incident response SLAs are being met.
- Working in collaboration with the CISO, Information Technology Leadership (ITL) and business teams to ensure assigned strategies align with business and technical needs, requirements, and constraints.
- Ensuring technical, administrative, preventative and detective security controls are incorporated into corporate and property systems, infrastructure and applications to protect Aimbridge operations, client assets and customer data.
- In collaboration with the CISO, develop internal and external metrics and benchmarks, determining gaps, developing heatmaps and remediation strategies to meet security program and policy requirements, and conducting internal and external reviews in support of Aimbridge's risk and security mission.
- Assist in implementing appropriate network, application and technology vulnerability assessment programs with appropriate reporting, dashboards and tracking to ensure critical patches, gaps and vulnerabilities are remediated in a timely manner.
- Assisting the Global CISO and Consumer Data Privacy Officer, and VP of IT Operations and Enterprise Applications in preparing presentations, reports, metrics and audit or client responses as necessary related to Aimbridge's Security programs, events, projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the development and mentoring of staff as required.
