Job Description

Boeing is taking another bold step in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. MQ28 is the first military aircraft to be designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia in more than 50 years. This unmanned teaming aircraft is Boeing's first military aircraft to be designed and developed outside the U.S. and uses artificial intelligence to extend the capabilities of manned and unmanned platforms. This cutting-edge project is aiming to unlock global defence and aerospace opportunities for Boeing and Queensland.

The Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat is a globally-significant program that will deliver a disruptive advantage to support Defence operational capabilities. The opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are looking for a Senior Integrated Planning & Scheduling Analyst to join our team supporting the cutting edge MQ-28 Ghost Bat program. As a highly skilled analyst you will apply your broad project planning knowledge and analytical ability to support a multidisciplinary team through the full lifecycle of an establishment of manufacturing capability either internally in Boeing or within the Australian supply base. We are looking for someone who will embrace our company's behaviours and is willing to innovate.

\This role is based in either Brisbane, Wacol or Amberley.

Position Responsibilities

As a Senior Integrated Planning and Scheduling Analystwithin BDA, you will:

  • Document and maintain the project's Contract Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and CWBS Dictionary.
  • Prepare, develop and maintain the program High Level Flows to meet program requirements.
  • Independently develop, coordinate, integrate, analyse and maintain an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements.
  • Perform studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), critical path analysis, risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints.
  • Create schedules, reports, metrics, change activity, communicate and update plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
  • Work to improve project management processes, business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
  • Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assist customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
  • Support other projects within the MQ-28 Program Portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance to safety, regulatory and engineering requirements.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have:

  • A degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline is highly advantageous.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Project Professional, Project Management, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
  • Experience in Project Management or Project Scheduling/Earned Value/Performance Management Systems in a commercial environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Open Plan Professional (OPP) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience with Cobra and the Defence Industry will be advantageous but not critical.
  • Understanding of critical path analysis is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing complex projects to successful and timely completion is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Experience in MS Excel, Visio and Word is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to tailor information and data for presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills with different stakeholders across the business.
  • Works well with others and encourages team building.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assertive, self-motivated and capable of working with a high degree of initiative.
