Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented leader to champion our Print, Writing, and Creative Operations team. In this hybrid contributor-manager role you will support winning new work for our Engineered Systems, Defense & Intelligence, and Infrastructure North America markets.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Act as a creative contributor on proposals and other sales deliverables, people leader, and manager of a multidisciplinary team focused on print production, creative writing, and creative operations (e.g., scheduling, reporting, documentation, systems, digital asset management, etc.).
- Ensure the overall creative team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to deliver strategy-driven creative solutions; partner with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs, research challenges, and recommend solutions.
- Lead team responsible for liaising with key internal functions (e.g., security, IT, facilities, safety, quality, procurement, printing and imaging, etc.) and external touchpoints (e.g., vendors, account administration, developers, etc.) on behalf of broader team.
- Understand company priorities and help align team activities to support them
- Foster the growth of direct-report leaders and contributors with a range of backgrounds
- Ensure direct reports follow best practices and help continually improve procedures
- Collaborate to adhere to assignment budget and schedule estimates
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- 8+ years as a creative contributor in design, writing, and/or print in a proposal development environment; preferably 3+ years in management
- A “Get to Yes,” customer service mentality with excellent problem solving and relationship building
- Next-level organizational abilities coupled with exemplary written and spoken communication to keep efforts on track and teams working in harmony
- Expertise developing creative solutions for proposals/interviews that achieve client specifications, brand requirements, and strategic win theme objectives
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe software applicable to your creative discipline; proficiency with Excel
- Expertly lead and facilitate discussions, ensuring productive conversation and actionable outcomes
- Utilize diplomatic problem-solving skills to navigate complex issues, resolve challenges, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Ability to deliver meaningful, consistent, and clear ongoing feedback and mentoring to grow in their careers
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent)
- U.S. Citizen
