Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst- Level 1 (Associate), to join our Launch & Missile Defense Systems - Missile Defense Systems team in Huntsville, AL. * This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.* This position is expected to work at the Redstone Gateway facility. In this role, the selected candidate will play a key role in the organic and future growth of the business by managing proposal efforts from receipt of Request for Proposal (RFP) though contract award. Our Associate Pricing Analyst is a key member of sole source, competitive sector and/or corporate priority win teams and will act as a key developer of winning bids. Pricing Analyst (All Levels): Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics. Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis. Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction. Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue. Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
In this job, you will:
* Plan and manage proposal efforts.
* Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications, company policies, and Government regulations.
* Coordinates with contributors from cross-functional organizations to ensure quality proposals are submitted within customer deadlines.
* Works closely with Program Management and Supply Chain Management to ensure supplier quotes comply with requirements.
* Researches and critically analyzes large volumes of data using spreadsheet and data mining skills to isolate and prioritize key data.
* Work with the proposal team to develop creative solutions to complex contractual issues.
* Summarizes and presents detailed proposal information in internal management reviews and customer fact-finding meetings.
* Develops negotiation strategies and participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.

Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of professional experience in proposal, pricing or financial related experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, nested formulas, macros, data validation), PowerPoint, and Word
* Effective communicator with the ability to lead meetings in person and virtually and confidently convey pricing data to various stakeholders
* Ability to efficiently collect, compile, and generate reports from large data sets
* Ability to manage timelines and be adaptable to change in a fast paced, deadline driven environment without sacrificing work quality
* Ability to efficiently utilize and quickly navigate MS Windows based PCs and standard business applications
* Ability to work under general supervision
* No clearance required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Expertise with Excel Pivot Tables, VBA working with Macros
* Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other Government Regulations
* Proficiency in ProPricer
* Experience working with Proposals
* Experience conducting cost analysis and risk modeling
* Experience with probability modeling (@Risk or Crystal Ball)
* Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE quality
* Experience with parametric modeling (such as SEER-SEM, PRICE True Planning, etc.)
* Understanding of Earned Value Management

*Salary Range: *$58,400 - $87,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
