Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the VP of Finance, the Controller is responsible for ensuring that generally accepted accounting principles and procedures are followed in the recording of financial transactions and maintenance of the hospital’s general accounting and statistical reporting systems. The Controller is responsible for the timely completion of financial, operational, and state/federal reporting and deadlines. The Controller must be able to foster a constructive learning environment for the team to grow and develop. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance required
• Master's degree Business Administration in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in Accounting required
• 4+ years of experience in Accounting preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience supervising accountants preferably in a healthcare setting preferred
