The Opportunity
Are you looking to bring your contracts management expertise to a global company and work on cutting-edge programs that make real difference?
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Contracts Specialist to join our MQ-28 Ghost Bat team. Evolving from the original Airpower Teaming System concept launched in 2019, the Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat is the first military aviation platform to be designed and built in Australia for over 50 years.
The ideal candidate will possess a sharp attention to detail, demonstrable commercial acumen, and an established background in contract/commercial management or complex procurement. Based in the Brisbane CBD, you will be an important individual contributor to the entire program, taking the lead in managing our major agreements with the Department of Defence for the production, delivery and eventual in-service support of the MQ-28 capability for the Royal Australian Air Force.
As part of the role, you will deliver comprehensive commercial support to the MQ-28 business unit, including drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, supporting new business opportunities, and managing both internal and external stakeholders to deliver on customer objectives and expectations.

About you:
- Experience with commercial contracting and/or complex procurement subcontracting is required, with experience managing contracts delivering technical services and capability within a project environment preferred.
- Knowledge of fundamental contracting principles and the application of appropriate techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for thriving in a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Defence experience, desirable however not essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Business/Commerce) from a recognised institution highly desirable.
