Are you a skilled technician ready to keep things running smoothly? We're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at our dynamic production facility. You'll play a key role in ensuring our equipment operates efficiently and safely, carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. What you will be doing
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll work closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards.
The position will be based in Richmond, CA.
Main responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and repair issues to minimize production downtime.
Conduct equipment inspections to identify wear and tear or potential issues.
Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
Participate in maintaining and organizing the parts inventory.
What we are searching for
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively and efficiently.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and work order tracking.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
