What you will be doing
The District Loss Prevention Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to protect company assets, minimize loss, and ensure the safety and security of our associates and customers. Working closely with store, district, and asset protection management, this role plays a key part in identifying potential risks and developing effective solutions for multiple retail locations. Key responsibilities include conducting regular audits, investigating internal and external incidents of theft or fraud, internal incident investigation, and implementing loss prevention programs.
The salary range is $80,100 - $104,160 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Main responsibilities
- Investigate both internal and external theft and fraud at retail and office locations.
- Investigate internal associate incidents, including but not limited to sexual harassment, workplace violence, and other company policy violations.
- Complete Preliminary Investigation Reports and provide to Human Resources, Legal, and respective Executive Operations personnel for disposition.
- Develop Shrink Reduction Plans and strategies for assigned districts.
- Conduct compliance audits as directed.
- Assist Law Enforcement with investigations and prosecutions.
- Supervise contract guard services in assigned areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong ability to interview witnesses, suspects, testify in legal actions, union hearings and unemployment hearings.
- Ability to conduct investigations, with good interviewing and interrogation skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assimilate information quickly
- Great people skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multitask and manage numerous on-going in-depth investigations simultaneously.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information while maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.
- Able to work long hours in a fluid environment without direct supervision.
- High degree of initiative and motivation.
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 3+ Years Loss Prevention/Asset Protection Management experience
- Available to flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Available to travel within districts weekly, to include driving 50+ miles across district geography.
- Experience with security systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field preferred.
- Wicklander-Zulawski Certified, preferred.
